Understanding the Impact of Restful Sleep
At the Dental Sleep Solutions, Dr. Tara M. Griffin and Dr. Gy Yatros understand the impact of restful sleep and a life free of pain. We are a patient-centered dental practice that focuses on the diagnosis and treatment of temporomandibular disorders (TMD), headaches and facial pain, bruxism and dental sleep medicine, including sleep apnea and snoring. Individualized care and a thoughtful and conservative treatment approach is how we change lives.
- We believe that our most important job is to first hear your concerns and objectives, gather careful and thorough information, and then work closely with you to develop an appropriate treatment plan that meets your specific individual needs. You can be confident that your concerns and problems will be fully and expertly evaluated.
- Our office believes strongly in the conservative, non-surgical treatment of sleep apnea and TMJ disorders. We also believe in a "team approach" to patient care, working with your doctor and collaborating with other healthcare providers to ensure the best possible results.
- Conservative treatment is the best treatment, and communication is an important key to overall health. Our office will file all your insurance claims, including medical, and will provide you with an individualized care plan for long term stability.
One of the most frequently misdiagnosed conditions is temporomandibular joint disorder (TMD). This condition can cause severe side effects, including jaw pain, headaches, back pain, difficulty chewing or biting, ringing in the ears, ear pain, and more. No one should have to suffer in silence, particularly since TMJ disorders can be treated permanently through safe, non-surgical means.Dental Sleep Solutions
Dental Sleep Solutions uses oral appliances to treat snoring and sleep apnea for patients who have been properly diagnosed with a sleep–breathing disorder and offers an alternative treatment for patients who cannot tolerate CPAP. Patients diagnosed with obstructive sleep apnea now have a comfortable and effective treatment option for those who do not wish to wear a CPAP mask. Oral appliances should be fitted by a dentist trained in dental sleep medicine to maintain unobstructed breathing during sleep.
